A student with a master's degree in physics is familiar with the basic theories of nuclear physics, particle physics, or solid-state physics. The student has a thorough knowledge of the topics, methods, and research questions within one's area of specialization. In addition, the student

- is familiar with key measurement techniques in one's specialization field and understands their basis.
- can apply numerical mathematics and modeling to solve problems in one's field.
- are able to critically evaluate and apply knowledge and research methods

- thinks analytically, models natural phenomena, applies theories in practice and solves problems with different methods
- is able to apply numerical mathematics and modeling to solve problems
- is able to work as an expert and developer in one's field of specialization
