Learning outcomes
Upon completing the IT component of the programme, students will:
- Design and implement professional-grade software solutions that meet user requirements, adhere to quality standards, and reflect principles of sustainability and ethical responsibility.
- Apply modern software engineering practices, including iterative development, automated testing and deployment, data-driven approaches, and AI-assisted workflows, to ensure efficiency and reliability.
- Understands how software engineering contributes to innovation and competitiveness in driving innovation, competitiveness, and long-term product value, while recognizing how design decisions affect maintainability and scalability.
- Develop strong analytical and reasoning skills to diagnose problems, evaluate alternatives, and make sound engineering decisions in diverse contexts.
- Apply AI responsibly in software development, demonstrating knowledge of its principles, capabilities, and limitations to ensure effective and ethical integration.
