Learning outcomes

Following the completion of the thesis and internship, the student can

  1. Read and evaluate written scientific works from their own field.
  2. Formulate a realistic research plan containing a motivation, a review of the most relevant scientific literature, concrete and actionable research questions or objectives, a methodology that can realistically answer the previous, and a realistic timetable.
  3. Report the results of a study in a scientifically rigorous written report
  4. Present the findings to others orally using suitable supporting materials such as a poster or a presentation.

Method 1

Evaluation criteria:
Seminar work and participation are graded pass-fail. Thesis is graded 0-5 using an assessment matrix. Passing the course is only possible if both components receive a passing mark. Final course grade is the grade of the thesis.
