Bachelor's Degree Programme in Psychology

The Bachelor's Degree in Psychology (180 ECTS) consists of studies in psychology (92 ECTS) and other studies (88 ECTS) which include general, communication, language, statistics and elective studies.

After completing the Bachelor's Degree Programme in Psychology, the student will have a science-based basic knowledge of the factors influencing human activity and thinking, especially in contents and phenomena related to developmental psychology, clinical psychology, neuropsychology, personality psychology, and work and organizational psychology. The student's expertise includes mastery of key concepts and theories related to these areas, as well as the principles of scientific thinking and research in the field of psychology. The student understands the scope and limitations of psychological knowledge. They have the ability to apply what they have learned in different situations and follow the development of scientific knowledge in order to update their own expertise and know-how.

The expertise and professional competence built for the student in the field of psychology also includes knowledge and skills in responsible encounters between individuals, groups and professionals from other fields so that they understand and are able to take into account the diversity of different cultures and people. The student's interaction and interview skills related to the field of psychology develop and they also gain skills for international interaction. The student's self-reflection, assessment of one's own actions and self-care skills develop.
