KAVKOK Study Module in International Studies (15–30 cr)
Description
The Study Module in International Studies can be compiled of the following studies:
- at least 15 ECTS credits of studies completed at the host university
- a maximum of 15 credits of supplementary studies completed at home university, e.g. studies related to international communication or multiculturalism or language courses (excluding compulsory studies which are a part of the degree, such as compulsory language and communication studies)
- a maximum of 8 credits given from studying in a foreign language during exchange
Learning outcomes
The aim of the Study Module in International Studies is for the student to
- be capable of examining phenomena from different perspectives internationally,
- be capable of working as an expert in the student's own field in a foreign language,
- be able to appreciate the diversity of languages and cultures, and to
- recognize that the cultural and linguistic abilities, resilience and tolerance for uncertainty have an impact on multicultural communication situations in addition to the expertise in the student's own field.
