Description

In the Master's Degree programme in Environmental science, students obtain a multidisciplinary basis for understanding the factors affecting the state of the environment, and learn methods and technologies for improving the state of environment. The focus of the programme is to teach how human actions impact the environment, including how anthropogenic chemicals and pollution affect the function of biological systems. A good understanding of environmental sciences prepares graduates for work in various tasks in the field, particularly in different research tasks, as it develops scientific thinking and prepares students to perform scientific research. The focus is on how human impact assessment in natural systems, environmental research and analytics, spatial data analysis and environmental technology solutions.
