YCCS2140 Stakeholder Relationship Management (6 cr)
Description
The study module provides students with specific knowledge of central concepts, models and theories of issues, stakeholder relations and stakeholder communication. Students will learn how to identify and analyse stakeholders, plan which issues to react to, design plans for managing expectations of different stakeholder groups, and reflect on consequences and implications of corporate actions towards stakeholders. This study module introduces several UN Sustainable Development Goals such as 10: Reduced inequalities, 16: Peace, justice and strong institutions, 17: Partnership for actions. Strong focus on business relevant skills includes working in groups for real life organizations and brands.
Learning outcomes
After completing this study module, the student:
is able to understand the digital operating dynamics of issues and stakeholders in society
can creatively solve problems and issues caused by stakeholders
is able to strategically plan communication with negative, positive and fake stakeholders
understands the logic behind misinformation
is trained to use a foreign language as a medium of communication in group discussions and presentations
learns to cope with uncertainty and problems in real time and in group context
is trained in the working life skill of constructing consulting/industry analysis reports
