Description
Recent scientific literature on research methods used in the field of exercise physiology.
Understanding characteristics of various methodological approach.
Understanding different methods to measure a similar physiological outcome.
Learning outcomes
Upon completion of the course, the student is able to
select appropriate methods for his/her study
critically evaluate the reliability and validity of chosen methods
critically evaluate study data
integrate theoretical knowledge with study results and draw conclusions

Description of prerequisites
Bachelor degree and major in Exercise Physiology.

Method 1
Description:
Seminars (24 hours, in class), requiring active participation and presentations in the seminar (2 credits). Methodological report writing (4 credits).
Evaluation criteria:
Large seminar-based literature report and its presentation accounts for 80% and opponent work and active seminar participation accounts for 20%.
