ENVSYV Advanced Studies in Environmental Science (85 cr)
Description
Advanced studies in environmental science offers a diverse background and understanding of the factors that affect the state of the environment and teaches ways to improve the state of the environment. The goals of the education is to provide a viewpoint on how humans impact the environment and how materials affecting the environment also influence the function of biological systems. A good understanding of research in environmental science gives students the ability to work in a variety of tasks in the environmental field. In addition, the education develops scientific thinking and prepares students to use the scientific method. The main themes are the natural and biological underpinnings of human impact assessment, environmental research, environmental analytics, and geoinformatic methods as well as environmental technology solutions.
Learning outcomes
After completing the Advanced studies in environmental science, students
