Learning outcomes

After completing the advanced studies of the Master's Degree Programme in Nanocience the student:

- has an interdisciplinary education and knows how to apply knowledge in solving interdisciplinary research problems
- is able to communicate and collaborate with scientists from other relevant fields of nanoscience
- understand properties of nano-objects in chemistry, biology and physics
- masters the concepts, phenomena and basics of nanoscience
- masters the physical and chemical properties, interactions and structural characteristics of nanomaterials
- masters the most important fabrication and synthetic methods of nanoscience
- knows the theoretical basis of analytical methods in nanoscience and is able to apply them in measuring and analysis of nano structures
- is able to plan and conduct research projects and present the results in written reports and oral presentations
