XYHX1014 Multilingual Study Excursion (3–4 cr)

Course description

It is a multilingual study trip. The program and content of the visit vary depending on the country of destination and the organization of the trip. The course provides a more comprehensive insight into the history and present o the destination and reinforces multilingual interaction skills in a real-life environment.

Kursbeschreibung

Es handelt sich um eine mehrsprachige Studienreise, deren Inhalt und Programm je nach dem Zielland und der Durchführung der Reise variieren. Im Kurs wird genauer z.B. auf die Geschichte und Gegenwart des Reiseziels eingegangen, und die mehrsprachige Kommunikationsfähigkeit wird in authentischer Umgebung vertieft. 

Die wichtigsten Lehrinhalte

• Informationsrecherche auf Deutsch und/oder Französisch
• Erstellung einer Präsentation auf Deutsch und/oder Französisch
• Teamarbeit und Kommunikationsfähigkeiten
• Verfassen eines Berichts auf Deutsch oder Französisch

Description du cours

Il s'agit d'un voyage d'étude multilingue. Le programme et le contenu de la visite varient en fonction du pays de destination et de l'organisation du voyage. Le cours donne un aperçu plus complet de l'histoire et du présent de la destination et renforce les compétences d'interaction multilingue dans un environnement réel.

Principaux contenus du cours

• Recherche d'informations en allemand et/ou en français
• Faire une présentation en allemand et/ou en français
• Travail en équipe et compétences d'interaction
• rédaction d'un rapport en allemand ou en français. 

On the completion of the course, the student is expected to

• be able to use their language repertoire in multilingual social interactions
• be able to manage multilingual information retrieval
• be able to use multilingual resources in reading and listening comprehension situations
• be able to adapt to people with a different linguistic repertoire.

Nach erfolgreichem Kursabschluss

• kann der/die Studierende sein/ihr Sprachrepertoire in mehrsprachigen sozialen Kommunikationssituationen einzusetzen
• kann er/sie nach Informationen auf mehreren Sprachen suchen
• kann er/sie seine/ihre mehrsprachige Ressourcen im Leseverständnis und in Hörsituationen nutzen
• kann in seinem/ihrem Handeln und in seiner/ihrer Interaktion Personen berücksichtigen, deren sprachliches Repertoire nicht dem eigenen ähnlich ist.

Après le cours, l'étudiant∙e

• sera capable d'utiliser son répertoire linguistique dans des interactions multilingues
• est capable de gérer la recherche d'informations multilingues
• sait utiliser des ressources multilingues dans des situations de compréhension écrite et orale
• peut s'adapter à des personnes ayant un répertoire linguistique différent.

Exact days for the study trip will be decided together with the students. End of April or beginning of Mai.

Die Studienreise findet Ende April oder Anfang Mai statt. Der Termin wird mit den Studierenden vereinbart.

Les dates exactes du voyage d'études seront décidées ensemble avec les participants. Fin d'avil ou début mai.

Level A2 in French or in German

Mindestens das Niveau A2 entweder in Französisch oder Deutsch

Niveau requis A2 de CECR en francais ou en allemand 

The study trip consists of pre-trip tasks, active participation in the program and a report on the trip.

Der Kurs umfasst Vorbereitungsaufgaben, aktive Teilnahme am Programm während der Reise und Verfassen eines Reiseberichts.

Le voyage d'étude comprend des tâches préalables au voyage, une participation active à l'itinéraire et un rapport sur le voyage.
