Description
Course description
As the second part of the introductory course package, the course continues to build up students’ vocabulary to be used in oral communication in daily study and work situations. Cultural aspects of the language will also be covered. This course focuses on conversation practices in pairs and groups. Meanwhile, pronunciation and Pinyin practices will also be continued. Students will learn to use more Chinese characters from HSK 1, as well as useful grammar that helps to create more complex and useful sentences in different work or study situations.

Learning outcomes
On the completion of the course, the student is expected to
- be able to understand various texts with the help of Pinyin
- be familiar with Chinese pronunciation and intonation
- be able to use Chinese in everyday interactions.

- Both Finnish and international students are welcome.
- It is possible for students at this level to take the Chinese language proficiency test and obtain an official language certificate HSK level 1 and ideally, HSK level 2.
