The main objective of the course is to gain an overview of the most relevant aspects of Latin American literature, art, and culture and engage in discussions and reflections on the content covered.

Learning outcomes

On the completion of the course, the student is expected to

  • understand the characteristics of Latin American cultures
  • be able to compare and discuss personal cultural views and experiences in Spanish
  • be able to discuss appropriately in Spanish the main contents of the course
  • understand a variety of cultural perspectives
