Description

Working in a multidisciplinary group, students analyze a real-world sustainability problem and create a sustainability transition plan. The analysis and plan reflect on technological, socio-economic and cultural dimensions of the transition, using knowledge and understanding from the previous courses.

Learning outcomes

    After successful completion, the student:

    • Has learned to work in a multidisciplinary group in a constructive manner.
    • Has gained an idea of the complexity involved with solving real-world sustainability problems.
    • Is able to create and evaluate sustainability transition plans.

    Method 1

    Description:
    Lectures, group working and distance learning materials. Participating in the first lecture is strongly recommended. Each student should commit to working in their project group and aim for kind and supportive interaction within the group. It is also possible to follow the lectures remotely or to watch them recorded.
    Evaluation criteria:
    The quality of independent written assignments and personal reflections on gr oup assignments.
