Learning outcomes
After reading the book, the student knows the basic concepts of ecological economics and understands the key differences between ecological and conventional economics. She/He knows what kind of limitations the limited resources and the absorption capacity of the ecosystems cause for human production and economic activity. She/He knows the main market failures (e.g. externalities) and their compensation. The student knows how to design production-economic policies that take into account ecological sustainability.
