Description
Written thesis that is required for Bachelor's degree. The topics come from research projects from applied fields, and they will be given in Bachelor's seminar.
Learning outcomes
After writing the Bachelor's thesis the student is able to:
- choose methods suitable for empirical data,
- apply methods to empirical data and interpret the results correctly,
- write a thesis that meets the standards in the fields of statistics,
- use literature when writing the thesis.

Bachelor seminar and courses required for the seminar.

• Teorian esittely • Matemaattisten tulosten todistaminen ja johtaminen • Kirjallisuuden hyväksikäyttö • Tutkielman laajuus ja aineiston riittävyys • Tutkielman rakenteen johdonmukaisuus • Tutkielman kokoonpano (esitystapa, tyyli sekä kieliasu ja taitto) • Empiirisessä työssä tutkimusmenetelmien valinta ja soveltaminen • Empiirisessä työssä johtopäätösten johtaminen aineistosta
