Sport marketing, winter sports, event and facility management.

Description

The course introduces the students with the basic and applied principles and concepts of modern sport marketing, with special focus on winter sports. The course introduces the students to the various aspects of sport marketing and how marketing principles can be used in planning and implementing sport marketing strategy.

Learning outcomes

On successful completion of this course, student is able to:

  • explain what sport marketing and sport sponsorship cooperation are, and how they can be used as part of an organization’s marketing strategy
  • know the special features of sport marketing in comparison to other contexts
  • use marketing theories in planning, implementing and analyzing sport marketing strategies classify different theories used in sport marketing studies.
