Description

Climate change is a topic that divides opinions. Thus, it is important to pay attention how climate change and related research are communicated. In this course student learns to understand the different forms of climate communication, factors affecting it, the challenges and keys to impactful communication about climate change.

Learning outcomes

Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to: - understand what are the different forms of climate change communication. - identify and discuss things that make climate communication a) important, b) challenging - understand what affects the recipients and messengers of climate change information - critically analyse climate change messages.
