The course introduces the phases in scientific research related to the collection and processing of research material.
Description
The course is intended only for those taking the NEUS4500 Thesis course. The project work can be closely related to the collection or processing of material for one's own thesis, or if the student has ready-made material, the project work can be related to material from another research group or project in the department.
Learning outcomes

The project work includes tasks related to the collection and processing of material, for which the student receives guidance. These tasks vary depending on the nature of the research, including, for example, further processing of raw data from e-survey materials, converting audio tape or video interviews into text format, i.e. transcribing, organizing, recoding or classifying quantitative/qualitative research material, collecting behavioral response data (for example, computer tests) or performing psychophysiological measurements or brain activity measurements under the guidance of the research team.Completion methods
