Description
Tutustutaan äärellisten ryhmien rakenneteoriaan ja ryhmien toimintaan joukoissa.
Ryhmien toiminta joukossa. Ratkeavat ja nilpotentit ryhmät. Sylow-teoria ja p-ryhmien alkeet. Esimerkkejä matriisiryhmistä yli äärellisen kunnan ja yksinkertaisista ryhmistä.
Learning outcomes
Kurssin jälkeen opiskelijalle on karttunut käyttökelpoinen kokoelma esimerkkiryhmiä, ja hän tuntee äärellisten ryhmien rakenneteorian alkeistulokset.

Järjestetään joka toinen kevät (parittomina vuosina). Kevään 2025 toteutus painottuu itsenäiseen opiskeluun.
