Rehearsal of math’s and statistics, metrics and transformations for multivariate data, handling missing data Sammon's mapping, clustering methods, regression modeling of time-series, MLP neural networks, model validation
Learning outcomes
To learn the basic concepts and methods to be used with multivariate environmental data concerning visualization, clustering and predictive modeling.
The study unit develops the following generic skills/generic competences: digitalization, internationality, critical thinking, identification and development of expertise, interaction and communication.
