Contents
This course covers links between physical activity, health and well-being outcomes; psychosocial determinants of physical activity from behavioral theories; and behavior change techniques – the building blocks of theory-based behavior change interventions.

On successful completion of this course, students should be able to:
- understand the evidence linking physical activity with health and well-being outcomes.
- identify and describe major theories in exercise psychology and behavior change science.
- identify common behavior change techniques (BCTs) and give examples of how these can be implemented within behavior change interventions.
- describe the links between BCTs and constructs from common behavioral theories.
