Content
The course explores the nature and utility of groups, effects of group interaction and communication, variability of group resources, and the nature of group development. Leadership theories, team building strategies and team building in sport will be explored and possible interventions introduced.

Lecture 20 h and assignment.
Learning outcomes
On successful completion of this course, student is able to
- Understand theoretical approaches and factors associated with group processes
- Critically examine the different existing approaches in the study of group dynamics
- Critically assess the validity of leadership theories
- Explain strategies for team building
- Apply the knowledge gained by having an active role in problem-solving situations.
