Content
This course introduces the participants to issues related to training and education in the field of intercultural communication. During the course, we experiment with putting intercultural communication theory into practice, and become acquainted with different educational approaches and methods, especially those that involve situated or experiential learning. You will also engage in personal reflection to identify areas for growth and development and learn to further develop your intercultural communication skills and competencies outside the classroom.

Assessment details
Passing the course requires completion of all required assignments in line with stated learning outcomes. An 80% attendance requirement is applied. Grade-specific assessment criteria are introduced in the course.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, the student will be able to:
identify and assess how intercultural competence and its development has been theorized
understand key approaches used in intercultural education with a special focus on experiential learning
critically analyze and evaluate techniques and methods in intercultural communication training and education
reflect on personal intercultural communication competencies and identify areas for growth and development
further develop their intercultural communication competencies outside the classroom.
