The course deals with the culture of social relations and social research.

Assessment criteria

80% participation in teaching and written assignments or lecture exam. Completion by independent study – essay, a exam or reading group.

Learning outcomes

After completing the course, the student will:

  • be able to explain how social networks and structures work on the level of culture
  • be familiar with the key concepts and theories related to the local, identity, transnationalism and migration
