Description

The module deals with technology from the perspective of cultural studies. The module focuses on the social and cultural meanings of technological innovation. 

Learning outcomes

After completing the study module, the student will:


  • understand technology from the perspective of cultural studies

  • have an understanding of the ethical, social and societal issues related to technology

Evaluation criteria:
The grading scale in all completion modes will be numerical: 0-5. The grade will be based on the evaluation of the assignments that measure the extent to which the learning goals have been achieved.   In modules organized in the form of contact teaching, completion requires 80% attendance.
