Description

The student participates in the research activities of the research group and carries out a supervised research project. Credits for a research project depend on the duration of the project.


The research project of the research team must be separately agreed with the research team leader.

Learning outcomes

The student understands the key steps in conducting experimental or computational research: possible literature search, selection of experimental / computational methods, conducting experimental / computational research and interpretation and analysis of results, reporting, reflection and conclusions. Students become familiar with the work of research groups and gain a deeper knowledge of the laboratory or computational work of their research topic.

Additional information

Working in a research team may not be included in the completion of other courses (such as laboratory work, thesis, training) or diplomas.
