Description
During the course, a PhD student is expected to give an oral presentation based on their own research and actively engage in seminars where PhD students and postdoctoral fellows working at the department of chemistry present their own research.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, the student
- has familiarized themselves with the operation of a scientific meeting, such as a conference or symposium,
- can prepare and give a conference presentation, while being able to absorb new information from presentations and pose constructive questions.
Working life skills:
Improvement in presentation skills. The student is better able to present at scientific conferences and similar events.
Additional information
You can have 1 ETCS per academic year and you can complete the course three different times. So you can have at most 3 ECTS.

Passing the course requires that the student participates in seminars (75 % compulsory presence) and gives at least one presentation during the course.
