Learning outcomes

Upon completing the course, the student:

  • Has become acquainted with the key thinkers in the history of strategy and their views on strategy

  • Is familiar with the main features of the development of strategic thinking from antiquity to the present day

  • Understands the application of strategy in both military operations and business

  • Can examine strategy in a historical context

  • Can define what is meant by strategy

Completion methods

Method 1

Description:
The course is recommended to be completed as an online course.
Evaluation criteria:
In all modes of completion, a numerical grade is given on a scale of 0-5. The grade is based on the evaluation of performances measuring the achievement of learning objectives. In contact teaching, additional absences are compensated for with extra assignments.
