Learning outcomes

After completing the course, the student will:

  • recognise the moral and control systems, rules, values, behaviour, and the most important mechanisms of change in the customs and habits of cultural and social actors, people and communities
  • understand the importance of the religious and national conflicts and the social and political upheavals of the the period
  • be able to analyse the extension of wolrdviews and the contributing factors
  • be able to examine the social development and structure, as well as changes in them
  • be able to recognise the most important ideological, cultural and economic events and lines of development of the period, and their significance both for contemporaries and later on
  • have honed their skills in analysing information and critical thinking.
