The course introduces physics present in everyday phenomena – physics is everywhere!
Description
Our everyday environments provide an excellent opportunity to concretize the teaching of physics. This course focuses on the examining and understanding the physics related to everyday phenomena. The course complements the study of advanced upper secondary school physics modules. The content is related to mechanics, wave theory, thermodynamics, electricity and electromagnetism, as well as modern physics.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, the student is able to
- observe physical phenomena in their everyday environment
- utilize physics-specific methods to explain everyday phenomena
- explain everyday phenomena to others using physics concepts
