Description
Attending conferences and schools can contain
- talks and posters presented in conferences
- schools related to and supporting PhD research
Learning outcomes
The student will improve both written and oral communication skills and presentation skills as well as developing language skills related to the research field.
Additional information

Indicative number of credits:
- Conference presentation (speach) 2 credits
- Conference poster 1 credit
- Workshops, seminars, summer/winter schools, etc. 1 credit corresponds to approximately 27 hours of work
Please note: The number of credits is assessed on a case-by-case basis. Exceptions to the above indicative number of credits are possible depending on the nature of the presentation or other performance.

To receive the credits, after completing the conferences/workshops, the student has to provide a concise written description of the work done and of the transferable skills developed.
