Learning outcomes
After this course, students will be able to:
understand and explain key concepts, theory, methods and practice in the field of language, equality and discrimination
understand and explain ways in which issues of ethnicity and race are linked to equality and discrimination via means of language and discourse;
understand and explain ways in which issues of disability and ableism are linked to equality and discrimination via means of language and discourse;
understand and explain ways in which issues of gender and sexuality are linked to equality and discrimination via means of language and discourse;
