Description

Participants can freely choose at least 10 different InnoWebinar events (each 1 hour long) to attend. The topics of these events vary each semester. Up-to-date information about the topics and schedules for each semester's events can be found on Patio. Participation can be spread over multiple semesters if desired. In addition to attending the events, students will write a learning diary in which they describe what they learned during each session and how they can apply the knowledge in their own work.

Learning outcomes

The objective of the course is to provide participants with additional information on intellectual property rights (copyright, patent, trademark, and design rights) as well as inventions and their commercialization. Participants will gain a good overview of how to consider intellectual property rights in their own work before, for example, publishing research results, how to address copyright issues when creating educational materials, how to generate new business from their own research results or know-how, , and what support is available from their university on these topics.
