Description
This course is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the key academic literature streams in the field of digital marketing and corporate communication. The course will focus on equipping students with the necessary skills to conduct academically rigorous literature reviews and build a foundation for successful master’s thesis projects.
Students will learn the process of searching for relevant information sources from the academic literature, writing compelling introductions, identifying research problems and gaps from existing literature, and constructing a theoretical framework. The students will develop their critical thinking and analytical skills to effectively analyze and synthesize research literature in the field.
Learning outcomes
By the end of this course, students will be able to:
- Conduct comprehensive literature searches and critically evaluate academic sources.
- Identify research problems and gaps in digital marketing and corporate communication literature.
- Write compelling and academically rigorous literature reviews.

The course prepares students to do DMCC-related thesis and is thus designed for DMCC program students.
Description of prerequisites
The student is expected to have completed several DMCC courses before registering for this course.
