Description

This course is done either as an exam or as a self study report. This course can be completed either in Finnish or in English.

Learning outcomes

After completing this course the student understand modern techniques used for molecular pathology diagnostics. The student is familiar with molecular biology tests used for the most common cancers in clinical laboratories.

Additional information

The student agrees with the teacher in advance about the pages of the book used for the study and about the completion method

Study materials

For this course about 300 pages of the book are required. This includes the diagnosis of solid and hematological tumors and optional parts selected by the student. The basic techniques presented in the beginning of the book are consireded as refreshment of previous knowledge and are not counted within the 300 page.
