This is a BSci level course focusing on human physiology. Course is useful also for the understanding of the physiology of other animals.
Description
The course will cover nervous system and senses, respiratory functions, blood circulation, digestive system, metabolism, endocrine regulation, specialized functions of tissues, and immunity.
Learning outcomes
After the course the student knows the key concepts of main physiological functions in mammals and particularly in humans. The student has learned were to find physiological information and can use it to solve problems related to for instance nutrition, exercise and health problems.

BENP1003 The living cell (or equivalent skills)

The course is based on an English language text book. Students are encouraged to search also other scientific literature. The book is available in the eBook collection of University Library.
