Description
Att ge deltagarna ett utökat urval av matrismetoder samt att ge dem en bredare teoretisk grundval i fråga om vektorrum och linjära operatorer.
I kursen behandlas olika typer av operatorer och matriser (ortogonala, unitära och hermiteska matriser), egenvärden och spektralteorem, diagonalisering, kanoniska former för matriser inkluderande Jordans kanoniska form och singulärvärdesdekomposition, matrisnormer, stabilitet och konditionstal.
