The goal is to provide information on the use of such tools that help the students to navigate in their own field and produce coherent knowledge of the level of academic (and practical) knowledge in it. \r\nDuring the course, the principles of traditional approaches to literature reviews and emerging tools are addressed. Introduction to traditional, such as systematic literature review is accompanied by a practical topic modeling approach to exploratory smart literature review. These different approaches have different applicability and uses, and they present an opportunity for researchers to add different tools to their toolboxes. The aim is that students learn about the basics of the varied approaches so that they can, for example, find appropriate approaches depending on the maturity of the topic and research area.
