Learning outcomes
The advanced studies in Technology for Safety and Risk Management consist of the Safety Practices module and the Science and Technology module.
Upon completing the Safety Practices module, the student is familiar with safety management practices and understands the operational environment and the basic principles of the desired safety culture related to technological safety. The student has good preparedness for expanding safety knowledge in working life.
Upon completing the Science and Technology module, the student is able to model complex problems related to scientific phenomena and solve them using creative and analytical thinking mathematically, computationally, and experimentally. The student can develop technologies to improve radiation, chemical, and biosafety as well as technical safety by modeling scientific phenomena. The student can analyze and anticipate the risks and impacts related to complex and rapidly developing technologies. The student is prepared to use various software applications.
