- Research-based interpretation of the most typical situations emerging in teaching
- Pedagogical problem solving by utilising pedagogical theories
- The role of interaction in planning and implementation of teaching
- The role of digitalisation and artificial intelligence in education
- Different perspectives and situations in teaching
- Planning of sustainable teaching and supervision
- Fostering a sense of community and well-being
Learning outcomes
Students can interpret and solve typical issues emerging in teaching and supervising situations and base their decisions on research findings and theories of higher education pedagogy. They understand the importance of interaction in learning and can consider it in the planning and implementation of teaching. Students can discuss higher education pedagogical issues by considering different theoretical perspectives, disciplinary specificities, and the different situations of the environment and its actors. They pay attention to the sense of community and well-being of their students, themselves, and other teachers.
