Course Description

In this course, students practice presenting the main points of both their bachelor’s thesis and their professional skills.

Core Content

  • orally presenting the main aspects of one’s bachelor’s thesis and creating a short slide presentation

  • describing one’s (professional) skills

  • deepening understanding of working life practices and gaining confidence in using Finnish in the workplace during the work placement 

Learning outcomes

After completing the course, the student:

  • can explain the key aspects of their bachelor’s thesis

  • can create a short presentation on the main contents of their thesis using appropriate visual aids

  • can produce a short multilingual video CV, using at least two languages naturally

  • feels confident using Finnish in informal and familiar situations at the work placement
