Description
In this course, students will become familiar with the EU's GreenComp framework and its guidelines for developing sustainability skills in higher education. The training helps teaching staff understand the key principles of GreenComp and find pedagogical solutions that support students' systems thinking, future-oriented thinking, and responsible agency. During the course, participants will examine their own teaching from the perspective of sustainability goals and plan concrete ways to integrate sustainability skills into the content and assessment of their courses.
Learning outcomes
After completing the study module, the participant:
- understands the key concepts and areas of the EU GreenComp framework
- can identify how sustainability skills relate to the content of their own teaching field
- can design teaching and learning tasks that support the development of students' sustainability competence
- can integrate GreenComp objectives into course goals and assessment
- is committed to developing their teaching in a sustainability-oriented way and promoting students' active agency.
