Content

The course is completed by working in IT-related tasks and subsequently writing a report. Work experience may also come from a period prior to the studies.

Completion of the course must always be agreed in advance with the teacher responsible for the course.

The course is intended only for students in Master's Degree Programme in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, HPC (Specialisation in Computer Science), Technology Management and Information and Software Engineering. A maximum of 12 ECTS credits can be included in the master’s degree from the courses TIES599, TIES5991 and TIES5950.

IT-related work experience and its reporting.

Assesment criteria 

Report. The report should describe the work tasks, the learning that took place during work, and include an evaluation of skills acquired in working life in relation to the studies, as well as identifying the student’s own development needs. The number of credits is determined by the duration of work experience.    


Learning outcomes

The student is able to assess their own learning and performance during work tasks. The student has gained a general understanding of the IT field.
