Description
Course Content
The sports course (2 ECTS) consists of three study packages divided into different themes, along with assignments completed in the Moodle learning environment. The objective is for students to explore a wide variety of indoor and outdoor sports, become familiar with local sports facilities, strengthen their connection to nature, and deepen their understanding of health and well-being.
Each study package is a 5-week (one period) practical unit, with all five sessions focusing on the package's specific theme (e.g., dance). Students participate within a consistent group led by the same instructor. In addition, the course includes shared online components, such as an introductory Moodle webinar and reflection assignments supporting personal physical activity and well-being.
Completion Methods
Students have a maximum of two years to complete the full course (2 ECTS). The course is completed by taking three different study packages and finishing the assignments in the Moodle workspace.
Three study packages: The student selects and completes three 5-week (1 period) packages. To ensure variety, each package must be selected from a different theme (e.g., 1 x nature, 1 x ball games, 1 x well-being).
Group: In each 5-week study package, the group and the instructor remain the same throughout the module.
Moodle: Participation in the introductory webinar in the Moodle workspace and submission of reflection assignments.
Registration: Registration for individual study packages takes place within the course's Moodle workspace.
Assessment Criteria
Pass / Fail
A passing grade requires:
Successful completion of three (3) study packages from different themes (1 package / theme).
Active participation in the contact teaching of the study packages within one's assigned group.
