Description
The aim of the doctoral research seminar is to develop doctoral students' academic communication skills, particularly in the areas of scientific presentation and evaluation, and scientific argumentation.
The course equips participants with the ability to engage in scientific dialogue and justify their research choices in a professional and well-founded manner. During the seminar, doctoral students practice presenting their own research and evaluating the work of others. In addition, they learn about the scientific evaluation process and develop the skills to respond to peer reviewers' feedback.Learning outcomes
After completing the course, doctoral students will be able to
- present and defend their research clearly and convincingly
- give and receive constructive and critical scientific feedback
- understand the principles of peer review
