Description

The course provides a comprehensive overview of key theoretical trends in business studies, current research topics, and recent empirical developments, with a particular emphasis on research related to JSBE’s priority areas. The course is organized into thematic modules that introduce the fundamental concepts of different areas of business research, key classical texts, and current theoretical developments. Students select the module that best supports their own dissertation, thereby gaining an overview of the development and current state of their research field.

During the course, doctoral students keep a reflective learning diary in which they examine how the selected thematic module deepened their understanding of the field.
