Learning outcomes

After completing the thesis students will be able to

● define a research topic and connect it to the chosen field of research in a relevant way. formulate research questions or work objectives

● acquire information on their research topic independently, make use of previous research and evaluate it critically

● define the key concepts of the research topic and apply them in their research

● select, limit and collect appropriate data for the research task (or prepare a sample of work appropriate to the research task)*

● apply the chosen research method (or perspective)* to address the research questions or achieve the objectives of the work

● present the results of their work in a structured way, relate them to the theoretical framework and critically evaluate them

● argue and follow the principles of scientific writing

● report on research and form arguments in accordance with the conventions of scientific writing and in a professional manner

● manage their working process

● adhere to ethical principles in all stages of the research process
