Description

The video lectures introduce the student to three field-specific example studies that have used register data. The example studies cover various research settings, such as over-time trends, life-course studies, intergenerational studies, and studies of contextual influences. Each video lecture consists of an in-depth introduction of a specific study, with particular attention focused on the data and methods used in the study. The video lectures are based primarily on interviews with the authors of these studies. The student is also expected to read these studies. It is recommended that the student has also started taking course ‘From Registers to Research’ when taking this course.
