Description
Des cours magistraux et des exercices pour parcourir l'histoire de la littérature française dans différentes régions et discuter des échantillons littéraires fournis par le professeur. Une dissertation rédigée par l'étudiant portant sur un ouvrage littéraire obligatoire pour tous.
Lectures and exercises to go through the history of French literature in different regions and discuss examples of texts given by the teacher. A dissertation (dissertation littéraire) written by the student on the basis of a work of fiction compulsory for all.

À l'issue du cours, l'étudiant sera capable de nommer et de décrire quelques-uns des écrivains les plus importants de certaines régions francophones, telles que l'Afrique du Nord, l'Afrique de l'Ouest, les Caraïbes, l'Amérique du Nord et l'île Maurice. Il sera capable d'analyser des œuvres littéraires en français, tant à l'oral qu'à l'écrit. A l'issue du cours, les étudiants seront capables de lire des textes français plus rapidement et plus efficacement, même sans supports langagiers. Ils seront également capables de relier les textes qu'ils lisent au contexte culturel et historique de la région.
Compétences génériques : numérisation, éthique, leadership et développement, internationalité, durabilité et responsabilité, identification et développement de l'expertise, interaction et communication, pensée critique.
In English:
On completion of the course, the student will be able to name and describe some of the most important writers from some French-speaking regions, such as North Africa, West Africa, the Caribbean, North America and Mauritius. He/she will be able to analyse fiction in French, both orally and in writing. After completing the course, students will be able to read French texts more quickly and effectively, even without the aid of an assistive device. They will also be able to relate the texts they read to the cultural and historical context of the region.
